M 2 – Final list of Results

The Foundation is publishing the latest list of final results as part of measure 19.2 of the LEADER programme 2014-2020: M 2 – Strengthening a healthy cultural identity.

The changes from the preliminary list reflect the appeals’ procedure and the re-evaluation of one of the applications. This has been done in line with the measure’s guidance notes.

List of applications received under M 2, 3 & 4 – closing date 14th June 2022

The GAL Xlokk Foundation is publishing the list of applications received by the 14th June 2022, at noon deadline under the below measures:

  • M2 – Strengthening a healthy cultural identity
  • M 3 – Promotion of the Cultural Heritage
  • M 4 – Development of green infrastructure

The budget under Measure 2 and 3 has been allocated or being evaluated; therefore, the calls are closed. The next set of applications under Measure 4 will close on the 12th July 2022, at noon.

List of applications received under M 1, 2, 3 & 4 – closing date 17th May 2022

The GAL Xlokk Foundation is publishing the list of applications received by the 17th May 2022, at noon deadline under the below measures:

  • M1 – Restoration of assets of artistic and cultural value
  • M2 – Strengthening a healthy cultural identity
  • M 3 – Promotion of the Cultural Heritage
  • M 4 – Development of green infrastructure

The budget under Measure 1 has been allocated or being evaluated; therefore, the call is closed. The next set of applications under Measure 2, 3 & 4 will close on the 14th June 2022, at noon.

M19.3 – Application for students, olive oil local producers, oil presser operators, olive pickers and Voluntary organisations

The GXF is issuing a call for applications under measure 19.3 to participate in a project called ‘L’Olio di Oliva nel Mediterraneo’. The chosen applicants will have the opportunity to visit Foligno in the region of Umbria, between the 20th and 25th April 2022. Deadline of applications is Tuesday 8th March 2022, at 14.00. 

  • Students should be studying in the sector of agriculture/horticulture/environmental science/natural resource management and the rural sciences with one of the research institutes/colleges/schools in the Maltese Islands. Applications from new students should be endorsed by a tutor/director or other responsible representative were the student conducts his/her studies;
  • Local producers working in the olive oil sector emanating from the south-east territory of the Maltese Islands. Applications from local producers should be endorsed from the Executive Secretary and/or Mayor of the Local Council.
  • Individuals working as olive pickers. Applications from olive pickers should be endorsed from the Executive Secretary and/or Mayor of the Local Council.
  • Oil presser operators working in the Maltese Islands;
  • Individuals forming part of agricultural and educational Voluntary Organisations(VO);

List of applications received – Students participating in M19.3 project

The GXF is publishing the list of applicants received from students studying in the sector of agriculture/horticulture/environmental science/natural resource management and the rural sciences with one of the research institutes/colleges/schools in the Maltese Islands.

The chosen candidates will be participating in several activities in the region of Umbria, Italy as part of the project L’Olio di oliva nel Mediterraneo as part of M19.3.

Call for students interested to participate in a trans-national project (M19.3)

The GXF is issuing a call for applications for students interested to participate in a trans-national project in Umbria, Italy. The students should be willing to travel to Italy whilst experiencing hands-on activities related to the olive oil sector.
