Administrative calls under M19.4 of the EU LEADER Programme (2014-2020)
GAL XLOKK Foundation is issuing a number of administrative calls, under Measure 19.4 of the EU LEADER Programme 2014-2020. Any offers/applications need to be submitted by not later than Monday 23rd April 2018, at noon. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Become a GXF Member (Application Form)
The GAL Xlokk Foundation (GXF) would like to welcome on board new private members interested to form part of the Local Action Group (LAG).
During a Decision Committee meeting held on the 14th December 2017, the Board members have agreed that the call for new private members remains open until further notice.
Local entrepreneurs, agro-alimentary producers, farmers, artisans, artists, voluntary organisations, private entities, operators involved in rural experiences and/or the hospitality industry within the Xlokk (South-East) territory are encouraged to fill in the below application form and send a copy to [email protected].
If you have a direct interest in agriculture, SMEs, rural economy, agro-tourism and environment amongst others, you are encouraged to become a GXF member and increase your chance to exchange experiences and learn about the role of local action groups within the Maltese islands.
The rural localities that fall within the foundation’s territory are: Luqa, Kirkop, Mqabba, Kalkara, Santa Lucija, Birzebbuga, Qormi, Xghajra, Qrendi, Ghaxaq, Zejtun, Marsaskala, Marsaxlokk, Zabbar, Zurrieq, Gudja and Safi.
Public Consultation Meetings (2014-2020)
In 2016, GXF has implemented a wide public consultation process as part of its work for the Local Development Strategy for the LEADER programme covering the 2014-2020 Programming period. The Foundation invited all its local stakeholders including local councils, community members, private entities, NGOs and voluntary organisations for (3) three public meetings. The meetings were held in the localities of Zejtun, Qrendi and Luqa.
Those interested in the sector of agriculture, SMEs, rural economy, agri-tourism, and environment amongst others, had the opportunity to participate in the meetings. The ultimate aim of the meetings was to put forward ideas and proposals for projects considered vital for the South-East territory. In addition, the LAG’s manager and secretary met on a one-to-one basis with all those interested to discuss into detail their proposals.
