The Kirkop Local Council has been a GXF member for the 2007-2013 programming period. Nonetheless, the Kirkop LC has decided not to renew its membership for the (2014-2020) LEADER programme. Despite this, private entities and voluntary organisations and other natural persons from the locality of Kirkop can still tap funds under the LEADER programme (2014-2020).
